DEPARTMENT OF ARCHITECTURE

Design for Health: Assistant or Associate Professor of Architecture: One faculty position in Design for Health at the rank of assistant or associate professor, with tenure-track or tenured status to be determined by applicants' qualifications. Applicants must demonstrate records of excellence or evidence of extraordinary potential in research, teaching, or practice.

Art and Architectural Historians: Three tenure-track assistant professor or tenured associate professor in architectural history positions: one will be filled with a specialist capable of teaching courses in modern architecture and the other with a specialist capable of teaching courses in architectural history outside the European and Western tradition.

Multiple Faculty Openings: The Department of Architecture seeks enthusiastic, and creative faculty for tenured, tenure-track, lecturer, and visiting positions to contribute to foundations, drawing, history of art and architecture, practice, historic preservation, and architectural design.

DEPARTMENT OF LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE
AND URBAN PLANNING

Assistant or Associate Professor in Urban and Regional Planning (Transportation): Candidates sought who approach the field of transportation planning from a comprehensive, interdisciplinary perspective, which may include, but is not limited to, transportation's linkages to the built and natural environments, land use planning, law, growth management, sustainability, urban design, public health, social equity, urban economics, and/or community and economic development. Substantive expertise in transportation planning, policy, and/or finance is essential; additional expertise in quantitative methods and/or GIS applications in planning is highly desirable.

Environmental Hazard Management & Planning: Tenure-track or tenured faculty position in environmental planning with an emphasis on hazard management and planning and broader sustainability/resiliency issues.

Assistant Professor in Urban Planning & Law: The department is particularly interested in candidates who have a strong potential for significant research and publications and demonstrated ability to teach courses in planning law, real estate law, and environmental law.

Assistant Professor in Landscape Architecture: A tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level, with strong educational background and expertise in landscape architecture.

Associate Professor in Landscape Architecture: A tenure-track faculty position at the Associate Professor level, with expertise in applications of spatial information technologies including geographical information systems (GIS) in design and planning.

Associate "Executive" Professor in Land & Real Estate Development: Expert in land and real estate Development with primary areas of concentration including site planning and development, development-related financial modeling and decision support systems, and residential development.


DEPARTMENT OF VISUALIZATION

Multiple Faculty Positions: The College of Architecture is inaugurating its fourth department this spring: the Department of Visualization. Multiple faculty are currently being sought to advance the art, science and technology of visualization and to support the college's highly successful and innovative Master of Science in Visualization Sciences program.
