Architecture faculty: Multiple listings

We are growing. The Department of Architecture at Texas A&M University seeks enthusiastic, and creative faculty for tenured, tenure-track, lecturer, and visiting positions to contribute to foundations, drawing, history of art and architecture, practice, historic preservation, and architectural design.

Up to eight positions will be filled to support undergraduate and graduate programs. Preference will be given to applicants that possess multi-disciplinary abilities and can provide leadership in integrated practice, sustainable design, global markets, Building Information Modeling, and virtual environments.

Applicants should possess a graduate degree in architecture or related field, professional experience, teaching ability, and evidence of creative inquiry. A Ph.D. is desirable. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications. The department strongly encourages applications from those with diverse backgrounds and qualifications.

Located in central Texas just 90 miles northwest of Houston, is a premier research university with strong emphases in teaching, research and public service. The Department of Architecture, housed in the College of Architecture, consists of over 60 faculty members with nearly 900 students enrolled in degree programs from undergraduate to PhD level, and each year serves over 4000 students.
