The Architecture Ranch

This facility, located on Texas A&M's Riverside Campus is the newest addition to the College of Architecture's resources. Sited on 12 acres of land which belong to the College, the Architecture Ranch serves as a research and construction workshop and is available to all students and faculty within the College of Architecture.

Housed within the building are a woodshop, a metal shop, and two of our newest digital fabrication machines: a CNC Mill and a CNC Plasma Cutter.

For all inquiries about use, demonstrations, or visits please contact Alan Knox.

All students and faculty who wish to use the shop must first undergo a training seminar. For information about training contact Chuck Tedrick.

All research proposals, long term construction project proposals, and class / studio use must be submitted to the Architecture Ranch Committee for approval.

Directions to the Architecture Ranch:

From Main Campus take University going west which will turn into Highway 60.
Exit off of Highway 60 to the right onto Highway 47.
Before you reach Highway 21 there will be a sign for the Texas A&M University Riverside Campus and a left turn off of Highway 47 into the Riverside Campus.
Turn left into Riverside Campus and pass through the gate.
The Architecture Ranch building is located at Avenue D. Building 7007.

Please park at the chapel which is located across the street from our building.
Do not park under the covered outdoor shop.
