Profile

Dr. Giusti is Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning serving as research associate in Center for Housing and Urban Development. She also teaches in George Bush School of Government and Public Service. Recent courses include: Contemporary Urban Issues, How Cities Crow, Development and Planning in Developing Countries and Economic Development in Latin America.
Dr. Giusti's interests include urban and regional economic development and planning, urban and regional theory, and economic development planning in developing countries, especially in Latin America.

Dr. Giusti has written articles including ““Colonia” Land and Housing Market Performance and the Impact of Lot Title Regularisation in Texas,” Journal of Urban Studies, Urban Studies, 2004; “Free Trade and Women in Business in the Americas—What Role Should Women’s Organizations Play?” InfoPYME, 2001.
