FACULTY PERFORMING ARTS SHOWCASE

This annual showcase was originally created and produced in 2002, by Molly Snell, from the HLKN Department. This program is supported by the Academy for the Visual and Performing Arts, OPAS, and the HLKN Dance Program. The purpose of this concert is to give faculty artists an outlet to perform, while teaching in various art programs throughout Texas A&M University. Several colleges have participated in this eclectic concert showcasing performances such as: dance, dramatic monologues, music, opera, and dance/drama. Each faculty member must submit a proposal to the Faculty Showcase Committee each fall, stating their concepts and ideas. After committee review, faculties and their works are selected to participate in this annual showcase. The showcase is a free event to all Texas A&M University students, staff, faculty, families and the surrounding community. If interested, please contact Molly Snell at msnell@hlkn.tamu.edu or 979-862-4404, to receive a program proposal form. You may also download the program proposal form (pdf).
