Graduate Programs
The Department of Architecture offers graduate degree programs to those who
wish to undertake advanced studies in the built and virtual environments.
The Master of Architecture degree
program is for those who hold a pre-professional undergraduate degree in
architecture
(such as the Bachelor of Environmental Design Architecture Studies Option)
and wish to obtain a professional license as an architect and pursue a
career in
architecture.
The Career Change program is
a one year graduate level preparation for entry into the Master of Architecture
program
for those who have earned a bachelor degree other than a pre-professional
architecture degree.
The Master of Science in Architecture degree
program provides an opportunity to pursue a topic in architecture at the
level of an advanced specialization.
The Master of Science in Visualization
Sciences is a specialized degree program intended for those who are
pursuing careers in visual arts and visualization.
The PhD in Architecture degree
program is a highly selective program for those who wish to contribute
to the body
of
knowledge in the discipline of architecture.
The College of Architecture offers Graduate Certificates in
specialized areas that are inherently interdisciplinary. These are Certificate
in Environmental Hazard Management, Certificate in Facility Management,
Certificate
in Health Systems and Design, Certificate in Historic Preservation, and
Certificate in Sustainable Urbanism. Graduate students from throughout the
university
may
pursue a Graduate Certificate.
