Texas Brain and Spine Institute in Bryan Texas

The Texas Brain and Spine Institute will provide ambulatory care and a network of clinical and academic capital to meet the demands of the adjoining counties providing diagnostic and treatment of neurological disorders while furthering research on the central nervous system. The clinical functions and atrium are the first phase of the project which include the doctors/admin offices, two main lecture halls, and the rehabilitation center of the building. An imaging facility is the second phase of the project. The third phase of the facilities will include a 25,000 square foot laboratory and research facility for study and testing new technologies in promoting the growth of neurons, and experiments will take place in the facility alongside the rehabilitation of patients. Stem cell research will be one of those technologies. The environment will incorporate healing gardens and a water feature to alleviate stress that comes with recovery and adjustment to new life skills.
