Kelley Vrooman, R.N. Scholarships
Endowed by Professor Emeritus Richard E. (Dik) Vrooman, '52, FAIA in honor and memory of his wife, Kelley Vrooman, RN; awarded to a student with atleast third year undergraduate environmental design classification and fifth year architecture graduate students; applicants must have a stated emphasis in health care facilities design; the scholarship may be awarded to incoming graduate applicants with preference to out of state students; applicants must have a minimum GPR of 3.0.


FKP Architects, Inc. Scholarship in Health Facilities
Funded by FKP Architects, Inc, in recognition of the quality of the health facilties design program at Texas A&M University and in appreciation of the past, present and future Aggie architects who have made and will make a positive impact at FKP and in the design community as a whole; awarded to a student enrolled in the Department of Architecture who demonstrates academic excellence and has an expressed interest in healthcare design; preference will be given to a third or fourth year undergraduate who has deomonstrated leadership qualities and community service thorugh participation in the AIAS student chapter or other campus or civic activities; student must have a minimum GPR of 3.0.


James S. and Marry G Wright Scholarships
Established in 1982 by James S. Wright, AIA, '54, and his wife, Mary Wright; the fellowships support outstanding students in the graduate programs in architecture; preference is given to students with an expressed interest in health care; (1) New students will be recommended based on academic achievement , quality of portfolio and a written statement expressing an interest in health care (2) Current students will receive the fellowship to support his or her final year of study; the topic of which is selected by a committee. A paper addressing a selected topic is required for students enrolled in the program. A portfolio is required for incoming students.
