Herman Miller Traveling Fellowships

Thanks to a generous gift from Herman Miller for Healthcare, this new program will award up to 6 fellowships of up to $1500 for travel to professional conferences, including either the annual ASHE/AIA Planning, Design & Construction conference in the spring or the annual CHD/AIA Health Design conference in the fall.

Eligibility: : Students in the first year of the Master of Architecture program who have registered their intention to earn the Healthcare Certificate with CHSD may submit. Career change students will apply when they join the mainstream first year M.Arch students, after their introductory semesters have been completed.
Submission Requirements: The submission shall include 1) a one-page resume, 2) a one page essay on the role of professional networking.
Deadline for Submissions: Submissions must be received in the CHSD office (in Williams 002). The 2007-2008 deadline is Friday, September 21st, 2007.
Selection: Selection of the winning submissions will be by the CHSD Council and announcement will be made in the second week of the fall semester.

STERIS Traveling Fellowships

Thanks to a generous gift from the STERIS Corporation, this new program will award up to 6 fellowships of up to $1500 for travel to professional conferences, including either the annual ASHE/AIA Planning, Design & Construction conference in the spring or the annual CHD/AIA Health Design conference in the fall.

Eligibility: Students in the final year of the Master of Architecture program who have registered their intention to earn the Healthcare Certificate with CHSD may submit.
