'In Theory' episode 4, 'Dis-Played,' tapes Dec. 3
Live webcast originates in Wright Gallery: The next live webcast of the "In Theory" talk show moderated by Peter Lang, associate professor of architecture at Texas A&M, will be taped in front of a live audience noon, Thursday Dec. 3 in the Wright Gallery on the second floor of the Langford Architecture Center's Building A.
Lang's guest in episode 4, "Dis-Played," are Daniel Humphrey assistant professor, film studies and women's and gender studies; Antonio La-Pastina, associate professor of communications; and Stephen Caffey, assistant professor of architecture. Lang will ask the question, "How do you look?"
The webcast can be accessed on Channel 6 on the TTVN website. Note, there is up to a five minute delay, so the webcast could start as late as 12:05 p.m.
Previous episodes of "In Theory," are collected in a tumblr blog online, along with episode notes and book lists of titles related to the topic and suggested by the guests.

Michael Graves lectures: Hailed by a New York Times critic as "truly the most original voice American architecture has produced in some time," Michael Graves will lecture 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3 in the Preston Geren Auditorium at the Texas A&M College of Architecture. The auditorium is located in building B of the Langford Architecture Center. Graves' lecuture, "The Grand Tour," will highlight his illustrious career in architecture, beginning with his student days at the American Academy in Rome, where he won the prestigious Rome Prize in 1960.
