Time magazine features Gail Vittori,
the wife of A&M professor Pliny Fisk

Gail Vittori’s efforts at building green health care facilities, including a new children’s health care center in Austin, were noted in the April 27, 2007 issue of Time magazine. Vittori is the wife of Pliny Fisk, an associate professor of architecture and landscape architecture and urban planning at Texas A&M University. She husband and wife team are co-directors of the Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems (CMPBS) in Austin, Texas.

Vittori led a CMPBS committee that issued a comprehensive guide to help hospitals and other facilities use green practices and reduce hazardous chemicals. The guide is the basis for more than 100 projects at health care facilities nationwide.
