SCHOLARSHIPS

The Construction Science Department is very fortunate to have many scholarships available for Construction Science students. For the 2007-2008 academic year the Department received nearly 190 scholarships worth $190,000. Any Construction Science student in good standing is eligible to compete for these scholarships. Scholarship applications for 2008-09 are due February 15, 2008. Students must submit a signed application form with a two page essay to be considered for the scholarship. Scholarship applications are reviewed and ranked by a Construction Science faculty committee to determine scholarship winners.

In addition to the above departmental scholarships, there are many other scholarship opportunities available to Construction Science students. Through the University's Financial Aid web site, you can find information on University scholarships. Professional organizations, such as the Associated General Contractors (AGC), the Associated Builders and Constructors (ABC), the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), and the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) also offer scholarships.
