Development in a Watershed by Decade

Development in the White Oak Bayou, Northeast of Houston, Texas displays suburban sprawl along a major transportation corridor (Hwy 290) and seems to occupy the riparian zones, with later time periods characterized by infill of prior developed areas. "Long-term Impact of a Development on a Watershed" examines this development pattern a over 50-year period to better understand human impact on watersheds.
