Admission process for undergraduate programs

Applications for admission to Texas A&M University can be downloaded from
the Office of Admissions and Records
Web site.
The site also contains all general information pertinent to applying for undergraduate
degree programs at Texas A&M.
Transfer Students
Students transferring into the College of Architecture must hold at least a 3.0 GPR to qualify
for application review. Transferring students should also have completed at least 24 hours of
graded coursework from the institution(s) of higher learning from which they are transferring.
Special consideration may be given to individuals with a GPR is below a 3.0 if they have a
unique background mutually beneficial to the college and the student. Applications, essays, and
letters of recommendation are all considered in the review process. All transfer students are
admitted on a probationary basis pending completion of their first semester of at least 12 hours
at Texas A&M and a minimum 2.5 GPR for that semester.

Applications for admission to Texas A&M University can be downloaded from
Office of Admissions and Records Web site
Mail appropriate documentation to the university
To apply, applicants must mail a completed application, official transcripts
from all universities and/or colleges attended, Graduate Record Exam (GRE)
scores, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score and application
fee -- $50 for domestic applicants and $75 for international applicants --
to the following address.

Landscape Architecture program), resume and statement of purpose to the following

Important considerations
Sending application materials to the wrong address will delay the application
review process.
Include your name and address on portfolio - notebook, slides, CD-ROM. If
sending slides, please put your name on each slide.
Include an e-mail address with each item submitted to Texas A&M University.
Applications will not be processed by the TAMU Admissions Office until the
application fee and all requested information -- GRE, TOEFL, transcripts, etc.
-- has been received.
Applications cannot be reviewed without all necessary information: transcripts,
GRE scores, TOEFL score, portfolio (if required), letters of recommendation
and statement of purpose.
The application fee cannot be waived or paid for by the department.
GRE scores will not be waived.
