Profile

June Martin will join the Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning this fall as a lecturer. She has also been serving as the Assistant Director for the Center for Housing and Urban Development in the College of Architecture since 2004.

Ms. Martin’s areas of interests include affordable housing, community development, and housing policy. She has over 10 years experience as a researcher in the housing and community development field, working collaboratively with community partners and residents in the planning and development of housing and other community development programs to meet the needs of community residents, particularly lower-income and other vulnerable populations. This work includes conducting housing studies for the Brazos Valley Affordable Housing Corporation, the Athens-Clarke County and Fulton County governments in Georgia to formulate strategies and action plans that address the housing needs of low and moderate income households in the respective communities.
