Profile
Mr. Woodfin is Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture and Urban
Planning. He also serves as Associate Dean for International & Off-Campus
Program in College of Architecture and Coordinator of campus Mater Plan
from 2002. He has 15 years working experience as Landscape Arch & Planner
before Professor of Texas A&M University. Professor Woodfin’s
areas of interest in landscape architecture are landscape architecture
history, history of cartography and design theory.
Thomas has written
or co-authored several books and articles including “Reconstructing
the Social Geography of Bryan, Texas Utilizing GIS”, Social Science History
Association; “Wildlife Habitat Planning in Carter Creek, College Station,
Texas: A Case Study”, Landscape Planning; “Application of the Myers-Briggs
Type Indicator in Studio Teaching”, Proceeding of Architecture Research
Center Consortium.
Thomas received his B.A. from Texas A&M University and
