Technology Requirements
All incoming students in the College of Architecture are required to possess a laptop computer. The minimum and recommended specifications can be found on the Information Technology Services (ITS) web site. It is recommended that incoming students wait until classes begin before purchasing software. A list of computer programs used by students in the College of Architecture and as well as links to where they can be purchased/obtained can be found on the ITS web site.

Newsletters
In 2003, the Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning began publication of an annual newsletter. Archone is the newsletter serving the College of Architecture at Texas A&M University. A print edition is mailed annually to former students and friends of the college.
