Research

Wei Yan's research areas of interest are in design computing (computer-aided architectural design), visualization, building information modeling, building science and technology, and applications of computer vision and games in design. Prior to joining Texas A&M University, he had participated in research projects as a graduate student researcher in the Department of Architecture and the Computer Science Division at UC Berkeley, and the Building Technologies Department at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
